The County Library “Alexandru and Aristia Aman” organizes, during the period March 23–27, the 49th edition of the “Elena Farago” Days, an event dedicated to the poet, writer, translator, director of the Aman Foundation and the honorary citizen of the city of Craiova, Elena Farago.
Elena Farago’s work will be highlighted during these days through online readings presented by students, as well as Elena Farago – children’s friend, (22nd edition), organized in collaboration with School Gymnasium no.22 – Mircea Eliade.
Competition takes place on Wednesday, March 25, at the headquarters of the County Library “Alexandru and Aristia Aman” within the Children and Youth Section – Playroom.
Students will be guided by didactic staff from the School Gymnasium Mircea Eliade : Crețan Valentina, Riza Narcisa, Melinescu Marlena and by the organizers: Asproiu Diana, Gavrilă Elena.
During the same period, on the Facebook page of the County Library “Alexandru and Aristia Aman”, the documentary film will run: Craiovan personalities: Elena Farago (1878 – 1954), realized by the library staff.
